Pelican CRATE System
Pelican’s new CRATE system takes the brand’s familiar hard-case durability and turns it into a more modular storage platform for trucks, roof racks, campsites, and demanding outdoor use. Available in 45L and 90L sizes, both cases are built in the USA and rated IP67 against water and dust, while also being engineered to withstand crushing and rough transport.
The standout feature is Pelican’s integrated ModRail system. External rails accept compatible mounts, tie-downs, and accessories, letting the case become part of a more permanent vehicle or gear setup. The lid can be removed completely or opened from either side, and the cases interlock across sizes for more stable stacking. Reinforced handles, padlockable hasps, and an automatic pressure-equalization valve round out the core design.
The CR45 offers 45 litres of storage in a relatively compact 20.1 × 16.3 × 12.1-inch exterior, while the CR90 expands capacity to 90 litres with a 32.2 × 20.2 × 12.1-inch footprint. Both can be expanded with accessories including internal trays, configurable dividers, MOLLE-compatible storage, and quick-release vehicle mounts.
