Gregory Alpinisto Backpack

The Gregory Alpinisto line has been a staple in alpine climbing for years. The current range refines what the pack does best: carrying gear efficiently in mountain terrain without getting in the way when things get steep or technical.

The collection runs from 20L to 50L, and rather than scaling one design up and down, each size is built around different objectives. The 50L is the expedition hauler. It carries heavy loads across multi day approaches with a suspension system designed for maximum breathability under weight. The configurable design strips down from a full load carrier to a streamlined route pack when you reach base camp. Weatherproof materials, an included helmet holder, and removable straps keep it adaptable across conditions and seasons.

The 30L and 25L sit in the sweet spot for single day alpine climbs and technical approaches. Both feature Gregory's AirCushion back panel, which creates airflow channels between the pack and your back to manage heat during sustained output. The 30L adds a removable framesheet for more structure when carrying heavier loads and quick access compartments for gear you need without stopping. The 25L pairs the same back panel with a CloudControl hipbelt that moves with you rather than locking you into a fixed position, a detail that matters on exposed scrambles and mixed terrain where your body is constantly shifting.

The 20L is the fast and light option. Minimalist design, weather resistant materials, and smart attachment points for ice tools and poles. The AirCushion panel and CloudControl hipbelt carry over from the 25L, giving it comfort that most packs this small don't bother with. It is built for single objective days where speed and efficiency matter more than capacity.

Across the range, the construction leans on durable fabrics, secure zippered pockets, and intuitive organisation that keeps gear accessible without adding bulk. These are mountain packs built by people who understand that the best gear is the gear you stop thinking about once you start climbing.
