The two new special edition variants come in the form of the Tiger 1200 Desert Edition and Tiger 1200 Alpine Edition, the first aimed at sandy off-roading, while the second is more of a mountain road tourer. Both special editions feature titanium Arrow exhausts, electronically adjustable semi-active WP suspension, Brembo monobloc brakes, 5" TFT displays, heated grips, cruise control, an electronically-adjusted windscreen and seat-height, 5V USB outlet, and the same proven liquid-cooled, 1,215cc, 12V, DOHC, inline-three that makes 141hp and 90ft-lbs of torque. Both machines are adorned in special edition liveries with dedicated graphics.
