Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 2020
At the 2019 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy, Husqvarna Motorcycles have lifted the covers off a range of thrilling new street models coming to North America for 2020. Our pick from the new models is the updated version of their spectacular Svartpilen 401, a scrambler based on the KTM Duke 390, with a remarkably compact 373cc single-cylinder engine, with 41.4 hp at 8,740 rpm and 26.4 pound-feet at 6,880 rpm. The single-cylinder mill is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The new 2020 model also has a new color scheme, and a new subframe, which has been extended by 40mm (1.6 inches), this new component is said to improve passenger rider comfort in case you’re out for a two-up excursion. This is a bike that is perfect for urban riding, and its lightweight construction means the power-to-weight ratio will also excite more experienced riders.
