Auto Fabrica BMW R80

If something works out well, why not do it again? After huge success with their stunning "Type10” BWR80 conversion, Auto Fabrica took the same formula and applied it to this new build. The "Type 10A” BMW R80 had no radical change in the approach, only a few twists here and there. They designed the subframe narrower in favor of a sportier silhouette, and the originally arched support tubes have been replaced by straight lines. The original tank has been preserved (even if strongly modified), and the engine has been tweeked by raising the displacement to 1000cc, gaining more power and improving the performance. They also created a new exhaust system, with two perfectly curved 316 stainless steel tubes. The rear is certainly one of the most exciting we’ve seen so far, with a stylish curved white panel holding slender red acrylic fins that distribute the brake lighting. The perfect ride for commuting in a busy city.

BMW R nineT Hera Project

This impressive masterpiece would probably be more at home in a museum as an artwork, than in a garage. The Hera Project was born from the minds of the team at Italian publication Chop and Roll Magazine, in collaboration with the artists at South Garage Motor Co. Using a BMW R nineT as the base, the bike was stripped to its essentials and completely rebuilt it with a distinctive one-piece aluminium alloy body cradled by a handmade leather saddle, a new titanium twin...
