2023 Aston Martin AMB 001 Motorcycle
A rare example of Aston Martin's first-ever motorcycle has surfaced for auction on Bring a Trailer. Developed in collaboration with legendary British motorcycle manufacturer Brough Superior, the AMB 001 is a track-only superbike that combines Aston Martin's unmistakable design language with extraordinary engineering. Limited to just 100 examples worldwide, this particular 2023 machine is number 032 and is offered with zero miles, making it an especially appealing collector's piece.
At the heart of the AMB 001 is a turbocharged 997cc V-twin engine producing 180 horsepower, paired with a six-speed transmission and APTC slipper clutch. A variable-geometry turbocharger helps deliver responsive acceleration across the rev range, while the lightweight construction keeps dry weight to approximately 180 kg (397 pounds). The chassis combines a CNC-machined aluminum backbone frame with a structural carbon-fiber rear subframe, complemented by a distinctive Fior-type front suspension, adjustable monoshocks, and forged 17-inch aluminum wheels.
The motorcycle's sculptural bodywork is finished in Aston Martin's signature Stirling Green with exposed carbon fiber and Lime Essence accents. A continuous aluminum fin runs along the fuel tank, beneath the hand-stitched saddle brown leather seat, and toward the rear light, giving the machine an unmistakable silhouette. Other highlights include aerodynamic winglets inspired by Aston Martin's grille design, an Inconel exhaust system, and ultra-thin stainless steel Aston Martin badges of the same type used on the Valkyrie hypercar. A Bluetooth-connected smartphone serves as the main instrument display, reinforcing the motorcycle's unconventional approach to design.
Hand-assembled in France by Brough Superior, the AMB 001 originally carried a starting price of €95,000 before taxes. This example was purchased new in September 2023 and imported to the United States in January 2024. Offered in Pennsylvania with its certificate of authenticity, original documentation, and accompanying accessories, the motorcycle is currently listed at no reserve on Bring a Trailer, with bidding scheduled to close on October 19, 2026. As a machine created exclusively for track use, the AMB 001 represents a rare opportunity to own a remarkable collaboration between two historic performance brands.
