1987 BMW R80RT Kumpan

The stunning 1987 BMW R80RT Kumpan by Earth Motorcycles is a masterclass in clean lines, minimalism, and mechanical harmony. Based on the classic BMW R80RT, this custom build rejects the boxer's traditional asymmetry for a rebalanced silhouette that's as sleek as it is functional. The Slovakian shop tackled the R80’s inherent lean by tweaking the tank angle and designing a custom engine cover that brings visual alignment to the bike’s profile.

Every detail is intentional. From the matte black finish and subtle orange accents to the hand-stitched leather seat and integrated electronics, the Kumpan blends vintage charm with modern precision. Motogadget gear is seamlessly embedded throughout, rear light, signals, and speedo, while the triple tree and rear shock feature matching perforated fasteners for visual continuity.

Performance wasn't left behind. The engine breathes through DNA pod filters and roars through short SC-Project pipes. Adjustable YSS rear suspension, ISR controls, and clip-ons offer modern handling, while the bespoke fairing and CNC-machined components add a bold personality to the front end.

This isn't just another café racer, it is a designer's challenge met with craftsmanship and soul. Earth Motorcycles has transformed the R80RT into a cohesive, head-turning machine that feels as good to ride as it looks standing still. Whether you are cruising through city streets or displaying it at a concours, the Kumpan is a perfect fusion of form, function, and flair.
