TruckHouse Expedition Vehicle
Created to take you and your crew on world adventures, the TruckHouse BCT is perfect for the Nomad of today. Nevada-based startup TruckHouse turns the latest Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro into a compact beast of an all-terrain expedition vehicle, filling the void between massive overland vehicles and 4x4 vans. The company used ultralight construction techniques borrowed from the aerospace and marine industries, to create its chassis-mount carbon fiber-reinforced composite monocoque camper, and have given it all the amenities you would expect in a modern home. The interior has a four-sleeper configuration, and features a queen-size bed in the alcove, a wraparound sofa and dining table at the rear (transforms into a double bed), a wet bathroom with a cassette toilet, and a kitchen with stove, sink and refrigerator. There are also double-pane windows throughout and a big skylight will help bring in natural light and make the relatively small camper feel much bigger than it is. There is a pass-through from truck cab to camper, and touches on offer include an optional 32-inch LED TV on an articulated arm, heated floors, 12V AC, outdoor speakers, awning, and more. Each camper is custom built to order, which allows each owner to customize the look and feel to their preferences.
