Tails Biking Camper Van

Portland-based Outside Van specialize in converting the Mercedes Sprinter into a drool-worthy, tricked-out camper van with loads of interior space, and dedicated to hauling sports gear into and out of the wild. Designed with the cycling community in mind, Tails is built on a 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 144 chassis. Inside and out, Tails is a complete mobile bike mechanic station. Securing up to four bikes on two exterior utility ladders, Tails is further outfitted with a Park Tool repair stand mounted to the inside of the rear passenger door. A handful of the many bells and whistles include: a garage gear glider, custom tool rolls, stuff sacks, a rear door flip down worktable with leveler, a side utility ladder, Molle Panels mounted via Mac’s VersaTie Track, and an ARB air compressor with multiple attachment sites. Culminating in over a year of design, construction, testing, and refinement with a relentless pursuit to push limits, Tails is ready to make extended treks deep into the woods of British Columbia, cruise through desert canyons, and take riders to their ultimate trail destination. watch the video below

FEDERAL MOTO HONDA CB550
