Stary Electric Skateboard
Stary is the latest electric skateboard to hit the market. Its differentiating factors? its lightweight (a mere 8.6 lbs), ensured by three key materials, fiber glass to bear most of the weight; bamboo in the middle and Canadian Maple to increase rigidity, and its unique breaking system. Stary was also designed for those who are not very gifted at balancing on moving platforms, it features a special lock wheel mechanism that does not allow Stary to move until you´re on top of it and ready to go at your command. With a gearbox fitted on to the small wheels, Stary can easily multiply the electric motor´s strength, making it able to face slopes and providing great range of use; plus this system gives greater durability than traditional belt moving systems. You also get a remote control to stay in charge of your Stary board, you can choose from three different operating modes, and it´s this gizmo that controls Stary´s behavior. With regenerating power when you brake, a top speed of 20 mmh, and with up to 10 miles in a single charge, this is indeed a great commuting option for zipping around town. watch the video
