Triumph Trekker GT E-Bike

After last week surprising fans with a special James Bond edition scrambler, Triumph have now taken a different path and have introduced their first electric bike - the Trekker GT.  The good-looking upright bike gets an aluminium frame, fitted with a Shimano Steps E6100 motor, capable of providing 250w (about 0.3bhp) of assistance. Triumph rates the Trekker GT for 150 km (93 miles) of range on a single charge, and it also gets a set of Shimano Deore M600 hydraulic disc brakes, LED lighting, a set of full-length fenders, kickstand, pannier rack, ABUS Proshield rear wheel lock, and a Selle Royal Vivo saddle. There is also a little display on the handlebars that will show your speed, gear and more at a glance, and let you turn pedal assist on or off.
