Lemmo Zero ID UNYX 08 Edition eBike
The idea of combining cars and bikes is nothing new. Most of the time, it is just a bike thrown in the trunk. The Lemmo Zero ID UNYX 08 Edition eBike takes a more deliberate approach, treating the bike as part of the vehicle rather than an accessory.
Developed through a collaboration between Volkswagen and Lemmo, this limited edition model is built around a fully integrated “4 plus 2” mobility concept. The standout detail is not just the bike itself, but how it fits into the Volkswagen ID UNYX 08 electric SUV, with a dedicated storage solution that removes the usual friction of transport.
Visually, the special edition leans into a clean, technical aesthetic. The “Black Warrior” finish moves from gloss to matte black with subtle gold accents, echoing the design language of the car. Underneath, it keeps things light and practical, with a carbon fiber frame bringing total weight down to just 10.8 kg.
The removable Smartpac unit is where most of the functionality lives. At 2.3 kg, it houses the motor system, battery, GPS tracking, and even doubles as a power bank for devices. The bike can switch between electric assist and completely resistance free riding, which makes it more flexible than typical e bikes that always carry motor drag.
Folding is handled just as efficiently. In around 15 seconds, it compacts into one of the smallest footprints in its category, making it easy to store inside the vehicle without forcing space or compromising usability.
It is not trying to compete with standalone e bikes. It is building a tighter connection between different ways of moving. For people who actually switch between driving and riding in the same day, that integration is where the real value sits. In many ways, Lemmo is positioning itself as a bridge between walking and cars, creating a middle ground that makes short distance mobility feel more natural, flexible, and connected.
