Toyota Hilux Tonka

Ever fantasised about a real life Tonka Truck when you were a kid? Well, to mark Tonka’s 70th birthday, Toyota fulfills every man’s childhood dream by transforming its HiLux into a man-sized Tonka Truck that starts and drives. The HiLux SR5 double-cab served as a blank canvas, and was converted into a beastly off-roader powered by a 2.8-liter four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that can generate 174 HP, and 309 pound-feet of torque. It was also fitted with heavy duty off-road suspension (gives it six additional inches of ground clearance), custom bumpers, a custom tailgate crafted out of carbon fiber, an electric winch with frame-mounted tow hooks on each side, 35-inch Tonka-branded tires, and some awesome black graphics atop a yellow base coat of paint. Sadly, its only a concept, and there are no plans to turn it into a production model for now., sorry to break it to you... watch the video below
