Tecniq Q40 Defender

Built by British automotive engineering specialists, TECNIQ, this impressive Defender is inspired by the iconic twin-rotor Chinook aircraft, which recently celebrated its 40th year of active service. Redesigned and re-engineered from the ground up, the mighty 2013 Land Rover Q40 Defender 110 XS was idealised with a military approach and built with an impressive attention to detail, resulting in a vehicle that is as elegant in its details as it is purposeful in its abilities. Finished in a matte and gloss dark green bodywork with carbon-fibre accents, the attractive machine is powered by a 2.3-liter Ford EcoBoost engine derived from a Ford Mustang which produces 307bhp and 219lb-ft of torque. The interior has also been re-engineered with tactile, precision-engineered materials, again with military design influence.
