Porsche 911 Dakar
Porsche has unveiled the long-awaited 911 Dakar, a 473bhp off-roading beast. We love this, partially because it is just cool looking and partially because it drives automotive purists up the wall. Limited to just 2,500 units worldwide, the mighty Porsche 911 Dakar is powered by a 3.0L Biturbo six-cylinder with 480 PS (473 HP) and max torque of 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) and mated to an eight-speed PDK and Porsche all-wheel-drive. Paying tribute to its victory at the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally, the all-terrain machine goes from 0-60 in just 3.2 seconds and it will hit a limited top speed of 150 mph. Other features include a height-adjustable suspension that offers 6.3 inches of ground clearance, Porsche Traction Management all-wheel-drive, rear-axle steering, chunky Pirelli off-road tires, a fixed rear spoiler, a CFRP hood from the GT3, aluminum tow hooks, flared fender arches and rocker panels, and a roof basket with an integrated light bar that can hold up to 92 lbs of cargo and accessories. watch the video below
