In 2016 Patriot Campers took the 4X4 world by storm with the release of their LC79 Supertourer dubbed the "Black Truck", a highly-customizable, imminently-capable off-road machine based on the new GXL Toyota Landcruiser dual cab. And now... they’ve done it again, this time even bigger and boulder. The beastly 6-wheel drive Patriot Campers Megatourer is packed with more technical features than any custom build we´ve ever seen. The base vehicle is a heavy modified Toyota Landcruiser 79 dual cab, it is powered by a 4.5 L V8 turbo diesel engine that delivers an impressive 500hp, and has 8 inches of lift, 37-inch tires, and 6x6 tractability. It also features a custom air suspension that offers three ride heights, a custom truck bed with open cargo space and a sliding fridge inside a small canopy, a battery pack, a solar panel, black leather bucket seats, LED off-road lightbars, a new infotainment system, a TJM bumper, front and rear winches, auxiliary lights, and tow points. Add to all this a 70L water tank and dual, angle-mounted spare tires, and you have an adventure vehicle ready for cross country touring of the harshest variety. watch the video below
