Mil-Spec Hummer H1

Based north of Detroit, Mil-Spec Automotive takes Hummer H1s, strips them to the bare bones, and rebuilds them from the ground up into the beast you see here. The first step in the process involves applying a gloss black powder coat to the frame and all its components to protect against corrosion. A new, aircraft-grade aluminum body is joined by a Duramax 6.6-liter LBZ V8 turbodiesel, delivering 500 horsepower and 1,000 ft-lbs of torque. Additional features include upgraded brakes, a monstrous Air-Ride adjustable suspension system, a 12,000-pound Warn winch, LED lights, 3813.50 R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler tires, a two-tone black leather interior, and an integrated Pelican travel luggage system.

Jeep Five-Quarter

For the 53rd annual off-road fan fest in Moab, Utah, Jeep has collected a bunch of sweet pickup-truck concepts to celebrate the return of the famous Gladiator pickup truck. But, the star of the show, is the only one not based on a current Gladiator pickup or Wrangler, it is instead this beastly custom based on the 1968 Jeep M715 military truck. The Jeep M-715 Five-Quarter started out as a Craigslist purchase, which was stripped to the bare bones, keeping all the cla...
