Lunaz Aston Martin DB6 Restomod
The Lunaz Aston Martin DB6 Restomod marks a decisive shift for the Silverstone based specialist known for electrifying British classics. For its 50th build, Lunaz has returned to internal combustion, delivering a re engineered DB6 powered by a hand built 5.0 liter straight six instead of the brand’s usual electric conversion.
The original 4.0 liter engine has been replaced with a new 5.0 liter unit producing around 345 horsepower, paired with a modern gearbox and fuel injection for improved reliability and drivability. Suspension, steering and braking systems have all been comprehensively upgraded, including active dampers and a modern steering rack, ensuring the vintage chassis feels composed by contemporary standards. A custom exhaust system completes the transformation, giving the car a soundtrack to match its performance.
Visually, the car stays faithful to the DB6 silhouette while elevating the finish. This First Edition example wears a bespoke metallic green paint accented with subtle gold trim. Inside, Lunaz blends heritage and craftsmanship with mother of pearl inlays, silver switchgear and a mix of cashmere blend textiles, suede and leather. The result feels bespoke rather than restored.

This build represents more than a single commission. Lunaz describes it as the beginning of a powertrain agnostic chapter, offering clients a choice between electric and gasoline platforms. With pricing expected to sit well into six figures, the Lunaz DB6 Restomod positions itself at the very top of the modern classic market, where craftsmanship, engineering and exclusivity define the value.
