Kirkham 428 Cobra
Crafted with obsessive detail and raw performance in mind, the Kirkham 428 Cobra is a modern homage to a racing legend. Under the hood lies a thunderous 428ci Ford Cobra Jet V8, blueprinted by FE Specialties with high-performance internals like SCAT rods, Ross pistons, and Stage II-ported Edelbrock heads. It is fed by a Holley 850 carb and breathes fire through side-exit pipes.
The brushed aluminum body, mounted to a stainless-steel chassis, keeps weight down and impact high. Suspension is fully independent with adjustable coilovers and billet components for precise handling. Wilwood brakes and 15-inch Halibrand-style knock-offs on Goodyear's keep things under control.
Inside, it is all business, black low-back buckets, Smiths gauges, a wood-rimmed wheel, and a fire suppression system. A Tremec TKO 600 five-speed puts the power down through a Jaguar-sourced rear end. It is registered as a 1965 Cobra, but don't let the vintage tag fool you, this beast is all modern muscle cloaked in timeless style.
