Icon Defender D90

The Land Rover Defender is undoubtedly one of the most legendary off-road vehicles of all time, we have featured several versions over the years by custom builders such as Kahn, Overfinch,  Twisted or Vilner. Icon is a Californian builder known for their custom jeeps and trucks, they got their hands on a defender recently and created one of our favorite builds to date, the Icon Defender D90. Staying in line with their traditional design aesthetics, the Icon D90 has been extensively reworked, it is based on a 1995 Land Rover Defender 90, but its original diesel engine has been replaced with a 430hp General Motors 6.2-liter LS3 small-block V8, to help it power through pretty much anything with brute force. Other details include a 4-speed automatic transmission, a custom built roll cage, front and rear bumpers with built-in LED lights, Alpine audio stereo system, and all the gear you need to tackle any terrain. It is beautifully finished off with a matt black paint scheme and matching 17” Hutchinson wheels.

Watch company founder Jonathan Ward give you all the juicy details of the build in the video below

Ferrari Luce - Image

Ferrari Luce

We already gave you a glimpse inside the Ferrari Luce earlier this year, but now the full car makes the bigger statement. Ferrari’s first electric vehicle is not a cautious step into the future. It is a complete rethink of what a Ferrari can be when there is no engine dictating the shape. Designed with Jony Ive and Marc Newson’s LoveFrom studio, the Luce introduces a cleaner, more radical design language for Maranello. The exterior is smooth, minimal, and highly...
