1995 Mil-Spec Hummer H1

Situated north of Detroit, Mil-Spec Automotive specializes in the meticulous transformation of Hummer H1s. They meticulously deconstruct the vehicles to their core, then reconstruct them, resulting in the formidable creation you see here. The initial phase involves applying a protective gloss black powder coat to the frame and all components to prevent corrosion.

Available now for bidding over at Bring a Trailer is this 1995 Mil-Spec Hummer H1. The rebuilt vehicle boasts a new aircraft-grade aluminum body and is powered by a robust Duramax 6.6-liter LBZ V8 turbodiesel engine (which is mated to an Allison six-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case), delivering an impressive 500 horsepower and 1,000 ft-lbs of torque.

Enhancements include upgraded brakes, an ARB locking rear differential, an Air-Ride adjustable suspension system, a formidable 12,000-pound Warn winch, LED lights, 38A—13.50 R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler tires, a stylish two-tone black leather interior, power windows and locks, an aluminum intake snorkel, a 60-inch roof-mounted lightbar, front and rear air conditioning, a JL Audio stereo system, and much more.
