stuff we drool about

1987 Mercedes-Benz 240GD

Among our favorite SUV´s there is always a place for the G-Class. Renown car auctioneer Barrett-Jackson have listed another one of a kind classic, a gorgeous G-Wagon from 1987 in pristine condition and recently restored by marquee professionals. The flawless machine has only 50k miles on the odometer, comes ready to drive and is ready to conquer the outdoors. It is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder diesel engine mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and features Brembo disc brakes, Ironman shocks, power steering, a high-performance radiator, LED tail lamps, and wide wheels wrapped in new BFGoodrich all-terrain tires. The whole thing was painted in a bright orange, continued inside with leather seats and orange contrast stitching and piping.

SHORT BUS RETRO | BY WINKELMAN ARCHITECTURE

Restored to perfection by Winkleman Architecture for a client, the 1959 Chevrolet Viking short bus can safely carry 12 passengers, converting to guest quarters for two with two single beds, or joined in the center as a queen bed. The design aesthetic was inspired by the mid-century, and has a charming 60′s, hippy-chic feel, execu...
