1985 Porsche Safari
Safari-style Porsche 911 builds have become incredibly popular in the past few years, we have featured several here before. The latest build to catch our attention is this gorgeous 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera modified by Vali Motorsports of Corona, California, and currently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer. We love this, partially because its just cool looking and partially because it drives automotive purists up the wall. The apocalyptic 911 is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and was given a lifted suspension, all-terrain tires, skid plates, a roll cage, and a limited-slip differential. Other details include a light pod mounted on the front trunk hood, a whale tail rear spoiler, a custom spare mounting rack on the rear windshield, mud flaps, a replacement windshield, plus a hydraulic handbrake for getting the tail out. Inside you will find carbon-fiber seats upholstered in black Alcantara, an electric sunroof, a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, powder-coated paneling, floorboards, pedals, and a four-point roll cage, along with red six-point Sabelt harnesses. Amenities include air conditioning, power locks, power windows, and an aftermarket stereo with USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
