1978 Porsche 911 Safari

This cool 1978 Porsche 911SC is no ordinary vintage coupe, it is a purpose-built Safari-style machine that blends old-school soul with serious off-road chops. Originally a German-market car, it underwent a full transformation in 2018-2019, with lifted suspension, aluminum skid plates, bumper guards, and aggressive 16-inch Fuchs wheels wrapped in Falken Wildpeak tires.

Under the hood, a 3.0L flat-six breathes with billet 964-grind cams and pairs with a five-speed 915 gearbox upgraded with shorter gears and a Wavetrac LSD. Elephant Racing coilovers and adjustable sway bars fine-tune its rally-ready stance, while the cabin features Recaro SR3 seats, PRP harnesses, a multi-point roll cage, and modern comforts like Griffiths A/C and a digital Blaupunkt stereo.

Finished in satin silver with bold graphics and rugged auxiliary lighting, this 911 has both presence and pedigree, earning "Best Car" honors at the 2018 Momo Road to Rennsport Rally. Now offered on consignment in Oregon, it is a true one-of-a-kind Porsche built to tear through dirt or turn heads at your next cars and coffee.
