1975 Lamborghini Countach

Set to be offered at auction over at RM Sothebys, this is a chance to own one of only 157 desirable LP400 "Periscopio" examples made. The stunning "black-over-black" 1975 Lamborghini Countach is finished in black with a black leather interior, and is considered to be one of the purest and most desired models in the entire range, as, unlike the other models, this model bets on more sober lines than the other members of the family. That is why the Countach LP400 Periscope is regarded as the example of classic Italian design from the 70s. Despite its age, when it comes to engine power, the mighty 1975 Countach continues to command respect, with a 3.9 liter V12 engine capable of 375 horsepower, it almost hits 200mph (320 kmh). Its newer brother, with its hybrid engine, runs at 192mph (309 kmh). In other words, a lucky buyer will not only get a classic car, but also an ultra exclusive model.
