1968 Chevrolet Camaro

The 1968 Chevrolet Camaro remains an icon of American muscle, and this meticulously built Nickey 427–style coupe takes it to the next level. Under the hood, a 496ci V8 roars to life, featuring forged internals, Brodix heads, a custom hydraulic roller cam, and an Edelbrock carburetor, producing an impressive 588 horsepower and 601 lb-ft of torque. Power flows through a rebuilt TH400 automatic with a Stage III shift kit to a 12-bolt rear end with Mark Williams axles and 3.73 Positraction gears.

Visually, the Camaro commands attention with black paint, white stripes, hide-away headlights, a Berryman fiberglass hood, hood pins, and SS/Nickey badging. Steel wheels with BFGoodrich tires up front and 275/60 Mickey Thompson ET Street slicks out back ensure traction, aided by Caltracs bars, power steering, and power-assisted front discs.

Inside, the cabin blends classic style with modern touches: black bucket seats with houndstooth accents, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, woodgrain console, and a full set of gauges including a 7k-rpm tachometer and 120-mph speedometer. Recent maintenance keeps it in top shape, from brake components to spark plugs and radiator hoses.

This 1968 Camaro coupe perfectly combines vintage flair with high-performance engineering, making it a standout collector’s car. With 76,000 miles and a Washington title, it’s ready for enthusiasts seeking a classic that delivers both style and serious muscle on the road.
