1967 Land Rover Series 2A
Florida-based workshop ECD Automotive Design (formerly East Coast Defender) have been working their magic on Land Rovers, restoring and modifying several British off-roaders over the years. They have built mostly custom Land Rover Defenders up till this point, but they have recently started to venture out into Range Rover Classics as well as Series Land Rovers. This is the company’s first restomod Series 2A, but don´t let the vintage look fool you, this thing is powered by Chevrolet 6.2L LS3 V8 engine with 430-horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque! All that power is heard loud and clear through the Borla exhaust. ECD also added in a 6L80E six-speed automatic transmission that features a Hurst shifter. Over 2,200 man-hours are needed to complete each vehicle, and the result is a true vintage feel, with plenty of extra power. The custom ECD Series 2A is the perfect rendition of the nostalgia of a vintage icon combined with modern luxury and performance suitable for daily use or any adventure that awaits you. watch the video below
