1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor

The "Gone in 60 Seconds" 1967 Shelby GT500 Eleanor is for sale! Many Ford Mustangs have starred in movies, the 1969 Fastback in John Wick or the 1968 Shelby GT500 in The Thomas Crown Affair, but at the top of that list is, was and always will be the 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang dubbed "Eleanor" from Gone in 60 Seconds. Now, two decades after the original release of the film, one of the original three hero cars from production is up for sale. This particular version has 72,000 miles on the odometer, and is equipped with FordĀ“s 400-horsepower cubic-inch (or 5.8-liter) small-block V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission. This Eleanor was also equipped with a nine-inch Lincoln rear axle, a suspension upgraded with a better coilovers and wishbones, rack-and-pinion power steering, and stabilizers from Total Control Products. Pricing has not been published, it is available upon request, but we estimate it to be well over a million bucks.
