1964 Shelby 289 Cobra

The iconic Cobra was the first largely successful English-American hybrid, a sports car with a Ford V8 engine, produced intermittently in both the UK and the US since 1962. This stunning 1964 Shelby 289 Cobra presented here is up for grabs, it has been meticulously returned to its original competition configuration. It was taken down to its component parts and a nut and bolt rebuild and restoration was performed. The V8 engine now breathes through a quartet of Weber carburetors, the suspension was custom made, and the beautiful magnesium wheels were wrapped with racing rubber. It was restored by a Cobra specialist as his personal racecar and comes with its LeMans Hardtop.
