1951 Willys M38 Jeep

Auction house Sotheby’s is offering a one-of-a-kind chance to own this extremely early, rare, and historically significant 1951 Willys M38 Jeep. Willys developed the M38 to supply the US military for the Korean War, since then it has inspired both an entire category of recreational 4WDs and several generations of military light utility vehicles. The M38 offered here received a high-quality restoration, has been mechanically freshened, and is equipped with a period-correct telephone, radio, gas can, helmet, and other accessories. Most special of all, it is outfitted with two machine guns.
