Leica Cine Compact 1 Projector
Leica already makes some of the best looking projectors on the market. The Cine Compact 1 shrinks that formula into something you can actually move around your home without rethinking the furniture.
The optics are where the Leica name earns its place. A Summicron zoom lens with aspherical elements sits in front of a 0.47 inch DMD chip and a Triple RGB laser producing up to 1,700 lumens. The result is sharp 4K projection up to 220 inches with natural colour and strong detail, whether you're pointing it at a wall, ceiling, or a blank surface in the garden. Leica's own Image Optimization technology keeps quality consistent regardless of projection size or distance. Dolby Vision handles contrast and tonal gradation between light and dark.
Setup is essentially automatic. Autofocus, zoom, keystone correction, and screen framing all happen without input. The 360 degree rotation system lets you project at virtually any angle, which combined with the compact size means you're not locked into a single position in a single room. An integrated tripod thread handles ceiling mounting if you want a permanent installation.
The housing is solid aluminium with a glass front panel and softly curved edges, following the same Bauhaus influenced design language as the rest of the Cine line. It looks like a Leica product, which is to say it looks like it belongs on a shelf even when it's not running.
Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, and Amazon Prime are preinstalled through the VIDAA operating system. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, Apple AirPlay, Apple HomeKit, HDMI, and USB cover connectivity. The built in speakers deliver clear audio out of the box, with Dolby Digital Plus and DTS Virtual X for surround processing, expandable via Bluetooth to external speakers.
An optional floor stand with integrated pin contact power keeps cables hidden and lets the projector sit as a standalone object in the room. It ships in a recyclable EPP protective case built for transport.
