UGREEN NeoDrive Go

Portable SSDs have become faster and smaller, but they still leave you guessing what's happening during a transfer. UGREEN's new NeoDrive Go changes that by adding a built-in 1.45-inch IPS touchscreen that displays real-time transfer speed, drive temperature, capacity, and health information directly on the device. Instead of relying on blinking LEDs or desktop utilities, you can monitor your drive at a glance.

Designed with creators and professionals in mind, the NeoDrive Go combines a compact 1TB SSD with a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface capable of transfer speeds up to 20Gbps (2,000MB/s). That makes it well suited for moving large photo libraries, video projects, or game installs in seconds, while its advanced thermal design helps maintain consistent performance during extended transfers.

One of its standout features is native support for 4K ProRes recording on the iPhone 15, 16, and 17 Pro series. Thanks to the integrated USB-C cable and MagSafe-compatible magnetic mounting plate, the drive attaches neatly to the back of the phone, creating a clean, cable-managed setup for filmmakers and content creators who regularly shoot directly to external storage.

The integrated braided USB-C cable is another thoughtful touch. Because it's permanently attached, there's no risk of grabbing the wrong cable or leaving one behind, making the NeoDrive Go especially convenient for travel or everyday carry.

UGREEN has also focused on reliability. The drive incorporates LDPC ECC error correction, electrostatic discharge protection, and surge protection to help safeguard your data, while broad compatibility with Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iPadOS, and iOS makes it an easy addition to almost any workflow.

Although the 20Gbps model will be more than sufficient for most users, UGREEN is also offering a 40Gbps version for professionals working with larger media projects on Thunderbolt-equipped systems.

With its combination of high-speed performance, integrated cable, MagSafe-friendly design, and one of the most useful displays we've seen on a portable SSD, the UGREEN NeoDrive Go feels like a genuinely smarter approach to external storage, particularly for creators who spend as much time working on the move as they do behind a desk.
