Sticky Mgnetic ePaper Display

The reTerminal Sticky turns the familiar fridge note into a small connected ePaper display. Made by Seeed Studio, the 3.97-inch device attaches magnetically to metal surfaces and keeps reminders, messages, weather, and other information visible without adding another bright screen to the house.

A built-in microphone and dedicated AI button let you create notes by voice, with support for English and Simplified Chinese. Messages can also be sent remotely through the Seeedash app, making it possible to update the display while away from home. The monochrome touchscreen has an 800 × 480 resolution with four levels of grayscale.

Inside is an ESP32-S3 processor with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, along with temperature and humidity sensing, motion detection, a microSD slot, and a 750mAh rechargeable battery. Seeed rates average standby at around seven days, while USB-C handles charging.

The magnetic back makes the fridge an obvious home, but an included magnetic ring allows the Sticky to mount to other surfaces as well. It can also work as a clock, weather display, lightweight dashboard, or Home Assistant interface, while open-source support leaves plenty of room for more experimental uses.
