The creators of the SmartHalo (a device that turns your bike into a smart one), are back on Kickstarter with the next generation of the award-winning, minimalist smart biking device. The new SmartHalo 2 promises greater connectivity and puts fitness data right in the rider´s line of vision. Like its predecessor, it has a circle of colorful lights it uses to communicate information, such as turn-by-turn signals, speed in real time, or fitness metrics like distance, time and calories burned. It can also protect your bike with a 100 dB alarm, and keep you safe at night with a 250 lumen light. You can also sync it with your phone for notifications from compatible apps like WhatsApp, Messenger or Slack. SmartHalo 2 is also said to be 30 percent lighter than its predecessor, is waterproof, goes weeks between charges, and can easily be customized to show the information that is most important to each rider. watch the video below
