Peak Design Pro Tripod
Peak Design has raised the bar with its new Pro Tripod series, co-developed with Oscar-winning filmmaker Jimmy Chin. Designed for photographers and videographers who demand stability, speed, and portability, the Pro Tripods combine expedition-grade engineering with Peak Design’s signature compactness.
Available in three models, Pro Lite, Pro, and Pro Tall, these tripods reach heights of 162.5 cm, 168.4 cm, and 197.4 cm, respectively, and carry payloads up to 18.1 kg. The standout feature is the redesigned Pro Ball Head, offering smooth fluid pans, a 15° tilt, and dual locking mechanisms for added security. For video creators, the optional Tilt Mod converts the ball head into a fluid pan/tilt system, making cinematic shots effortless.
Built for both adventure and professional use, the Pro Tripods feature CNC-machined aluminum hubs, scaled leg tubes, and refined leg cams for fast, secure setup. Whether backpacking or working with heavy cinema rigs, these tripods deliver unmatched stability and portability.
The series launched following a $4.6 million Kickstarter and is part of Peak Design’s Black Friday sale, with a 5% discount on tripods and accessories through December 1. Prices start at $799 for the Pro Lite, with Pro and Pro Tall models priced at $899 and $999, respectively.
For photographers and videographers seeking a versatile, durable, and innovative tripod, the Peak Design Pro Tripod delivers pro-level performance without compromise.
