NEO Home Robot

The future of household help might just have a face, and it’s called NEO. Created by Norwegian-American robotics company 1X Technologies, this humanoid robot is designed to live and work alongside you, taking care of everyday chores like folding clothes, cleaning the dishes, organizing the house, and even chatting while it learns your habits through AI.

Standing 5-foot-6 and packed with sensors, NEO can recognize objects, open doors, fetch items, and turn lights on or off, all through voice commands or a mobile app. Early users can pre-order it now for $20,000 (with a three-year warranty) or subscribe for $499 per month, with deliveries expected to start in 2026.

However, in its early stages, some of NEO’s tasks will still be assisted by human teleoperators, helping the robot learn from real-world environments. Privacy controls are built in, allowing owners to restrict access or blur sensitive areas.

Available in tan, gray, and dark brown, NEO represents a bold step toward bringing functional humanoid robots into real homes, one task at a time. You can reserve yours today with a $200 refundable deposit at 1x.tech. watch the video below
