Moodi Page Turner
Digital reading has solved the screen problem. E-paper displays, larger tablets, and better fonts have made reading on a device genuinely comfortable. What nobody fixed was the constant tapping. Every page, every scroll, every swipe requires reaching over and touching the screen, which over hours of reading adds up to hand fatigue, broken posture, and interrupted focus. DuRoBo's Moodi is a tiny Bluetooth remote that moves those controls into the palm of your hand and stays there.
At 3.5 by 5.7 by 1.3 cm and 18 grams, Moodi is smaller than a car key fob. It connects via Bluetooth 5.4, pairs once, and automatically reconnects with compatible e-readers, tablets, and smartphones. The rounded, plump body sits in the center of your fist without requiring any grip adjustment. Each button press delivers a bouncy, paw pad like rebound with a satisfying tactile click that settles into a rhythm during extended sessions.
Three modes cover different use cases. Reading Mode turns e-book or comic pages with a single press, keeping your hand relaxed whether you are in bed, on the couch, or reading one handed. Multimedia Mode handles play, pause, and skip for audiobooks, podcasts, text to speech, and music. Browsing Mode scrolls through articles, documents, presentations, and notes in predictable increments without touching the display.
The personality is what separates Moodi from every other page turner on the market. Six magnetic emoji button caps swap in seconds, each with its own color and expression. Pull one off, drop another on, and the face changes instantly. Meh, cheeky, drowsy, hype, vibin, or goofy. It is a small detail that turns a functional accessory into something you actually want sitting next to your book.
A 90mAh battery lasts up to two months based on 3 to 4 hours of daily use. A built in lanyard hole keeps it tethered to your wrist or bag. Moodi is part of DuRoBo's broader ecosystem alongside the Krono e-paper display, suggesting the company is building a range of accessories centered around distraction free digital reading.
The kind of product that solves a problem you stopped noticing because you assumed nothing could fix it.
