Garmin inReach Messenger

The new Garmin inReach Messenger is a compact, tough satellite communicator that goes beyond the limitations of cellular networks to keep friends and family in contact when you are off the grid with cross-border two-way text messaging. Connect the enhanced satellite communicator with the Garmin Messenger App, and it can work both alone and in tandem with your smartphone. The Inreach is incredibly small, fitting into the palm of your hand, and it fits neatly into your duffle, backpack, or daypack. When a cellular or Wi-Fi connection is available, the companion app will use it to send messages, update social media accounts, or connect with other travelers for the most effective messaging. However, when these connections are lost, the companion app will automatically switch to the 100% global Iridium satellite network. watch the video below
