Connect the enhanced satellite communicator with the Garmin Messenger App, and it can work both alone and in tandem with your smartphone. The Inreach is incredibly small, fitting into the palm of your hand, and it fits neatly into your duffle, backpack, or daypack. When a cellular or Wi-Fi connection is available, the companion app will use it to send messages, update social media accounts, or connect with other travelers for the most effective messaging.
