BMW Motorrad is set to redefine the riding experience with its latest innovation, the ConnectedRide Smartglasses. These cutting-edge motorcycle goggles combine head-up display technology with real-time data projection, offering riders a safer and more immersive journey. Designed to seamlessly integrate with the BMW Motorrad Connected App, these innovative glasses provide essential information, including navigation, speed, and gear, directly into the riders field of vision. With a simple Bluetooth connection to your smartphone, the glasses can be easily configured via the handlebar-mounted multicontroller.
The design has been meticulously crafted to cater to the specific needs of motorcyclists, ensuring a perfect fit for various helmets and face shapes. With a long-lasting lithium-ion battery, riders can enjoy up to ten hours of continuous operation. The glasses come with two sets of certified UVA/UVB lenses: one transparent set for helmets with sun visors and another tinted set for sunglasses. Prescription glasses wearers can have the lenses customized by an optician. The BMW ConnectedRide Smartglasses are expected to arrive in the U.S. later in 2023.
