Apple HomeView
Apple has officially entered the smart home display market with HomeView, a beautifully designed hub that brings home automation, entertainment, and a more intelligent Siri together in one place. Featuring a 7-inch Liquid Retina touchscreen, powerful built-in speakers, and facial recognition, the new device is designed to become a central part of everyday life, whether sitting on a kitchen counter or mounted on a wall.
The tabletop version features a compact aluminum design with a domed speaker base and an adjustable stainless steel hinge, allowing the display to tilt for comfortable viewing. A wall-mounted version offers the same smart home experience in a more discreet form. The screen includes True Tone technology and adaptive brightness, while a 12MP Center Stage camera and four-microphone array make hands-free FaceTime calls possible. The tabletop model also delivers Spatial Audio through custom drivers, a down-firing woofer, and passive radiators, making it a capable standalone music speaker.
At its core is Siri AI, Apple's redesigned voice assistant powered by Apple Intelligence. HomeView can recognize up to six household members and automatically personalize its interface, surfacing relevant calendars, messages, reminders, and other information. It also serves as a smart home dashboard, allowing users to control connected lights, thermostats, locks, and security cameras, with support for Matter and Thread devices. Music, video, photos, recipes, and compatible third-party apps further extend its usefulness beyond home automation.
Available in four colors for the tabletop model, Apple HomeView starts at $299, with preorders opening October 13 and shipping beginning November 13, 2026. Initially available in selected markets, excluding the European Union, it represents Apple's most ambitious attempt yet to bring its ecosystem into the center of the connected home.
