AirFly Drive Wireless CarPlay Adapter
Twelve South AirFly Drive removes a small but familiar chore from getting behind the wheel: plugging in your phone. The compact adapter connects to the USB port used by an existing wired CarPlay or Android Auto system, letting you access navigation, music, messages, and calls while your phone stays in your pocket.
After the initial pairing, AirFly Drive automatically reconnects when you start the car. It works with the existing dashboard display, buttons, and steering wheel controls, so the everyday interface remains familiar. Setup requires no additional app or account, and the adapter draws power from the vehicle.
For shared cars, a button switches between two paired phones without repeating the setup process. The small aluminum and polycarbonate housing is designed to stay plugged in, with a native USB-A connection and an included adapter for USB-C ports.
Available in black or white for $39.99, AirFly Drive is an upgrade for vehicles that already support wired CarPlay or Android Auto. It needs the media-enabled USB port, rather than a charging-only socket. For compatible cars, the appeal is straightforward: the same dashboard tools, with one less cable to connect before every journey.
