Genki Manta Customizable Controller
The Genki Manta is a pro-level controller built around customization rather than fixed presets. Developed by Human Things, it runs MantaOS directly on the controller, letting players adjust profiles, sensitivity, button mappings, macros, trigger behavior, and other settings without relying on a separate phone or desktop app. A 2.79-inch color display puts those controls directly in your hands.
Its adjustable TMR thumbsticks use magnetic sensing and allow players to tune stick tension for different games and preferences. The face buttons are analog inductive inputs rather than simple on/off switches, opening the door to light and deep presses, custom response curves, and other profile-based actions. Six rear controls add another layer of flexibility for more demanding setups.
The triggers can be configured independently in Digital, Rapid, or Analog modes, while Maglev voice-coil haptics are designed to deliver more detailed feedback than conventional rumble motors. Performance is equally ambitious, with wired polling rated at up to 8,000Hz and wireless polling at 1,000Hz. Connectivity includes 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and USB-C.
Manta is being developed for Windows, SteamOS, Switch, Switch 2, and Apple devices, although available features will vary by platform. Kickstarter pricing starts at $189 for the Super Early Bird tier, with a planned $279 retail price. Human Things currently expects shipping to begin between January and April 2027.
