Pentax K-01 | By Marc Newson
The new Pentax K-01 has a compact design signed by Australian Marc Newson, and despite the smaller than usual body for a DSLR camera, the lens is compatible with the Pentax K-mount series. The K-01 is available in black aluminum, silver or yellow, has a 16 megapixel sensor and records video in 1080p. The camera, according to Pentax, has the thinnest of interchangeable lenses. It features a CMOS image sensor with a range from ISO 100 to 25600 and a manual focus system that allows more defined settings. The camera has a USB 2.0, one AV, one HDMI, and 3.5 mm audio. The K-01 will be available in the US in March with the price of $749.95(body only) or $899.95(with 40mm lens kit). Read a hands-on review here
