Ricoh Theta Z1

Ricoh have unveiled the Theta Z1, a 23-megapixel advanced flagship 360 camera. The impressive device can capture 23MP (6720 x 3360 pixels) still images and 4K (3840x1920 pixels) 360-degree video on its two 1"-type backside-illuminated CMOS sensor with a maximum sensitivity of ISO 6400. It is capable shooting at 30 frames per second with three-axis stabilization and spatial audio. It even does 4K live streaming. Housing a new lens unit, the Z1 still captures immersive photos in one shot with stitching in-camera. Photographers who want to use the new RAW shooting option, which captures Adobe DNG files for more flexibility in editing, will have to use a plug-in for Lightroom Classic to stitch the RAW files. The plug-in will be available free.
