goTenna Mesh

When traveling off the grid, network coverage or internet access are most of the times inexistent. goTenna Mesh fills this gap with its Bluetooth-connectable radio antennas, by allowing smartphones to communicate via their own radio-based network. The small radio antenna connects to a user´s smartphone via Bluetooth and an accompanying app for Android and iOS. You can then communicate even when you don’t have service, no towers, routers, and satellites are required! There are no carrier fees to pay because goTenna sends the data via VHF radio waves. It enables you to even aggregate other goTenna users thus creating your own small community, using the app that goes with it and the free offline maps you can share your location with other users and text them. watch the video below
