Self-inflating Vest | By Patagonia

Patagonia have published information on the development of a new self-inflating vest. Following the footsteps of Billabong´s Floatation Wetsuit, Patagonia have developed a lifejacket style design that is light weight and can be worn under any wetsuit. At the right moment pulling the cord and filling the chamber with CO2 from the removable cartridge, the vest quickly and safely helps disoriented, exhausted athletes to the surface. The Vest is still under development, the date of release and its selling price is still unknown. Watch the video
