Underpass Studio Workspace

This furniture designer has built a studio under a bridge! Fernando Abellanas, who makes furniture under the label Lebrel, has transformed the underside of a concrete bridge in Valencia (Spain) into a hidden workspace as a response to the urban space shortage. He built this structure in the greatest secrecy perched at several meters of altitude, accessed only by a platform, which he operates with the aid of a crank. The platform moves from one side of the bridge to the other along rails, where a shelf, chair, and desk have been bolted to the bridge’s concrete wall. The ingenious, floating workspace is the ultimate hiding spot where he can focus on his work. watch the video below
