PEBL Grand Modular Cabin

The PEBL Grand Modular Cabin by Hungarian studio Hello Wood redefines what a modern retreat can be. Blending cutting-edge design with sustainable construction, this prefabricated cabin offers the comfort of a five-star suite in a compact, eco-friendly form. With 20.7sm of interior space and an 8sm terrace, it is perfect for two, whether used as a glamping escape, creative studio, or urban hideaway.

Unlike traditional boxy cabins, the PEBL Grand features a pebble-inspired, space-age geometry crafted from CNC-manufactured CLT wood. This innovative shell system allows bold, sculptural forms while reducing waste and assembly time. Exterior finishes range from natural wood and stone to mirrored panels, letting the cabin either blend seamlessly into nature or stand out as an architectural statement.

Inside, every detail is designed for luxury and functionality. The cabin can be outfitted with a king-size bed, kitchenette, bathroom, dining space, and even a panoramic infrared sauna. Large glass openings flood the space with light and connect you directly to the outdoors.

What makes the PEBL Grand truly unique is its mobility and speed of installation. Prefabricated in Europe, each unit can be shipped worldwide, flat-packed into containers, and installed in just a single day using a ground screw foundation—no concrete required.

Whether perched on a rooftop overlooking Manhattan or nestled deep in the forest, the PEBL Grand represents the future of portable luxury living, a balance of sustainability, comfort, and design innovation.

WARDELL SAGAN APARTMENT

This original open-space living/work loft is the creation of two San Francisco art and travel addicts, Jeff Wardell and Claudia Sagan. They bought a 3,200 sq ft former Chinese laundry and restored it as a living space. They also wanted to include a home office and a guest bedroom without cluttering the space, so they came up with the idea of stacking two shipping containers on top of each other to create private space within the open-plan living area. source Like...
