Dusky Parakeet Houseboat

Currently moored in Londons St. Katharine Docks, this stunning minimalist houseboat is on the market. Named the Dusky Parakeet, the modern 60-ft-long canal boat was designed by award-winning practice 31/44 Architects. Every decision made had both the need to be space-saving and practical, but to also create a generous and calm contemporary home. The 470-square-feet interior is open and uncluttered and has a Snadinavian vibe, with storage cleverly tucked away beneath the staircase and under the benches. Everything within it is bespoke, and every fitting has been handmade from the finest materials. The beautiful floating home can be run 100% off-grid thanks to a 500-litre water storage tank, solar panels and a fully insulated hull. watch the video below
